Girl I’ve been there and my son is now 5 months old and I have the same problem but your son is only a few days old so I wouldn’t stress over it just continue to attempt to put him in the bassinet

I gave in and let my son sleep in the bed with me. Best decision ever. We both sleep at least 7 hours straight now

@mommytotheo, how do you have it set up? do you have a cosleeper or use blankets or something? i don’t want him rolling off the bed if i move around lol

@kartersmommyy we have a co-sleeper co-sleeper but most of them the time I just craddle my arm around him. I'm a light sleeper and I wake up to his movements. If your bed is against a wall but him next to the wall and you beside him so he don't roll off.

@kartersmommyy he's too young to roll... However you lay him I guarantee he'll be in that same position when you wake up. And there's no harm in him sleeping cuddled next to you. He's still thriving off of your heart beat

Remember mama, he's fresh out the womb. All he knows is YOU. Your smell, your voice, your heartbeat... That's what comforts him. Do all that you can and don't listen to people when they say you're spoiling your baby (cuz they will say that). A baby can't be spoiled. Just let him sleep with you. 💙

It will honestly be like that for awhile girl, but he just needs your comfort right now .. everything is new to him just like it is to you .. it’s temporary and I promise it will get better, and yes,! ^^ you cannot spoil a NB some people will think/tell you otherwise

Spoil away 😍 they will only be little once and snuggles are the best! I say that with my 19 month old who wakes up in the middle of the night still and the way he says mama in his sleepy voice is the cutest! I wouldn't trade these moments for the world. And I still will go pick my girls up and snuggle them too.... Sleepy snuggles are the best! 😍

he loves your warmth and smell so maybe you can wear a blanket in your shirt all day and then put it in the dryer and swaddle in that between y’all as you rock him and lay him down with that warm blanket still around him that smells like you

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
