How did you know when you wanted to be done breast feeding? I’m exclusively pumping and my nipples are so sore and I get so stressed about producing enough that I’m just over pumping! I know it’s the best food for her, but Im tired of it. But when I think about quitting, I feel kind of guilty even though I was formula fed from birth.

@babydiehl2016, that’s the thing, I don’t know what’s right. Depends on the hour what I want to do. Lol. Sometimes I’m ready to quit and sometimes I feel like if I’m producing milk, I might as well keep pumping

@babydiehl2016, that’s true. Thank you.

I felt the same way and then it got a bit easier for me once I gave up pumping so much. I had the luxury of being at home so pumping wasn’t a necessity. Once I was only worried about nursing my son, it became so much easier for me. My nipples weren’t sore from pumping and nursing became something I could actually enjoy. I’m hoping you find what works best for you and your family.

I pumped for 2 months and I have to say I pump still but only 3times a day. And whatever I make I mix into her formula and it's been AMAZING. I'm still giving her my milk and I'm not as stressed out and my nipples don't hurt as bad anymore.
