I use both, when I’m home I use pads when I’m out in public I use tampons.. rather you use one or the other your still “sitting” in blood lol. What do you think that tampon is doing? Soaking up blood lol, so you change your tampon everytime you stick it in? Lol. What does anyone using a pad have to do with you? Yea you have an opinion but again how is that affecting you & your personal life!? I agree with @goodvibetribe, I thought this post was suppose to be educational lol.

Right, no ones saying it isn’t nasty but it’s like.. we ALL deal with it someway or another so who bashes women for dealing with it the way they feel comfortable. It’s not like we said we don’t use ANYTHING & just walk around a mess ya know ? lol. A pad is obviously a very reasonable, safe & sanitary way to handle your period. & no, we don’t change them the moment a drop is on them because they’re designed to absorb so much to feel dry & keep it off you. So you change every few hours just like a tampon. Her point of “sitting in your blood” was so ignorant & childish for so many reasons lol. We all know & think it’s gross, no one LIKES it. But we all deal with it & it’s nature so there’s definitely no reason to be a kid about it.

I’m confused because I had the nexplanon removed in 2017 and I’ve had several complications since then and I pass extremely heavy clots to the point that even super plus tampons do nothing for me so yes I do have to wear pads but I don’t understand how that makes me nasty? I literally have no fucking choice until my body decides that it’s going to stop fucking up and I stop clotting enough to be able to wear tampons again. Regardless tampons are filling up with blood just like pads do. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Using pads, tampons, or even a cup doesn't change the way you smell honestly. I only have issues during my ovulation when I'm discharging non stop 🤦


I've used tampons, I've used pads, I've used menustral cups. They all smell the same. The cup is slightly different because the blood goes in the toilet....

I don't really use disposal pads because my vagina is super sensitive and they make me itch.


But my BV that I occasionally get is not caused by whatever menustral product I decide to use. It doesn't take much to personally throw my PH off...


Key word (personally).

So I only use warm water to clean. Occasionally I'll use something like summers eve, but even then. I don't stick it in my vagina.
