I have never felt so judged in my life, as I have said before Ava is autistic and has very bad balance problems so can lose her balance quite quick and fall. Today at home just got back from picking her up at nursery , she went into the front room started spinning around with her eyes closed and then went to go and make a run for it but fell into the door frame, cut her face and her cheek was all swollen. I just freaked out as she’s never done anything like that before, yes she falls over quite a lot and bumps into things but nothing like this before. I put ice on it, she calmed down gave her a drink and food, called up the doctors to see if they could do anything, took her down there which then I was told to take her to ane as she might need an X-ray. And for the whole time at the hospital I just kept getting asked so how are things at home, do you have social services involved I mean they just kept asking and asking, Ava has never go to ane for anything like this before and the way they were going on like it was a regular thing 😔 kids fall over, they made me feel so guilty like I had done something wrong, there suppose to be there to help not automatically think your a bad parent

NHS honestly hun fucks me up sometimes I rem ember i took my lg to ane she had a rash at 2 weeks old they even asked me this to ....They think if one mother has social involved everymother on this earth has one

I remember it was a form i had to.complete for my lg n it had a question saying has this child been involved in social services and of course i ticked NO n the nurse who was Dealing with us read that question out when she was going thriugh the form even so i ticked NO lol i think.its just there new thing out 🤣

I know it makes you feek bad but they have to be safe. Imagine if i child came in with injuries and they didnt ask questions about home life and something awful happened to the child. My niece fell off a chairnrecently and broke her arm. They interviewed my brother and his wife in seperate rooms to see if their stories matched up. They just have to make sure for safety. Dont feel guilty, kids are forever falling and bumping! My lola has a black eye after an arguement with a door frame 🙈

@kayteamay, oh dear I hope she was okay, no I totally get that but asking over and over it was just getting to me, I already felt guilty and they just made it worse, I hate going to ane x

@sarahlucindagiddins when you are in panic mode after your child has hurt themselves its understandable to get annoyed! She was fine, needed an operation to put pins in her arm bit shes all fixed now

@kayteamay, no exactly that’s what I was in, I just wanted to make sure she was okay , I’m just so glad we are back home and that she will be okay, I’m glad she’s all fixed now 😊

Faye once fell trying to pull herself up on her cot and she caught her head on the bar, she's quite small for her age and they were asking the same. Then she said, I can't let you go till I see her pull herself up on something she looks too young and sure enough she pulled herself straight up on the bars on the bed and nearly fell over the side. They are very patronizing xx

Don't feel judged unfortunately services like the NHS have to suspect everyone which does seem unfair but they didn't question Victoria climbes carers and she died as a result despite the clear signs the services should have picked up on, you know your child and you know your caring for her but they see it as better safe than sorry. It is a shame that we all get painted with the same brush though I agree xx
