What’s with people putting their baby’s beds on the floor now? I don’t think I’d want Frankie sleeping on the floor 😳

Floor plans of our new place I can't wait to move now!
Red lipstick? Yay or nay? (wearing a floor length red gown with lace at the top).
Crawling vs. Hardwood Floors Those of you with hardwood floors, how did you handle crawling?
The box with all of our sex toys just exploded onto the garage floor in front of my extremely conservative FIL, my dad, and a mover. 💀😭
Been scrubbing the floor since 2:30am I am well and truly done right now 😭😭😭

Yeah its a montessori method to help children to become more independent.. but the whole room has to be adapted and everything has to be at child's reach.. and the bed is not suppose to be completly on the floor but low enough so he doesnt need a rail and can get on and off freely

@tlistboom, pretty much people make cute bed frames and stuff but they are basically on the floor. I guess it would be safer for falling out and stuff

That is how it is at most daycares. I will put all my daughters toys within her reach but her bed will be normal

@bonkerz2, yea I guess I don’t really see the point. A child can get out of a toddler bed just as easily, and it can be drafty on the floor
Tara·
Yeeeaaahhh .. my daughter can get outta her bed. No need for floor .. hmmm .. I feel like that is too much babying your child ...

@tlistboom, yup lol that’s what I said, it just looks like the room is kinda missing something when people do that. Also how independent do kids need to be I’m always nearby to help my child if he needs it
Tara·
Wouldn't sleeping in a reg bed or toddler bed create more independent children than the floor? The floor is too easy ..

@tlistboom i feel the same. And i also feel that way about the pottys that go on the floor. You child will need to learn to use the actual toilet eventually. Why create the extra step?

@bonkerz2 to each their own but .. people are getting a lil crazy 😂

@bonkerz2, @tlistboom, I know my child would see it as an excuse to get us and play whenever he wants. With it being on the same level as his toys
