Crawling vs. Hardwood Floors
Those of you with hardwood floors, how did you handle crawling?
I know army crawling is normal.
Pants just seem to make it worse, she can't get all the way up on her knees with pants on, she just slips and slides on the hardwood. This isn't my house so the rugs we have are it, and they don't cover a very big area.
We have a rug and those foam tiles in front of the couch & recliner. That covers most of our living room, and it's his main play area. He crawls like a pro most of the time... But...
He did just faceplant in the hallway last night on a thin rug... Chipped a tooth and bloodied his gums a bit. ? It's awful to watch the learning process sometimes.
The face planting onto the hardwood floors, also doesn't it hurt their knees?
When does a baby start crawling ?
& where do you even start to do that with them.... do you just put them on the floor & see what happens when you think they are strong enough? 🙄👀
#NoIdea!!
I DO NOT let the kids play with doctors office toys or crawl around on the floor, or go into the play place at McDonald's. IN MY OPINION, thats just gross

Anyone ever use baby knee pads? We have hardwood floors and sissy’s knees are so bruised from crawling around the house

We have all tile and I was worried about this as well.
I think my LO would have crawled sooner if we had carpet.
I don't think he likes the feeling in he knees.
He adapted, and started "bear crawling" on his hands and feet. He's all over the place now.
Your baby will figure it out
