Pants just seem to make it worse, she can't get all the way up on her knees with pants on, she just slips and slides on the hardwood. This isn't my house so the rugs we have are it, and they don't cover a very big area.

It took him longer because it wasn't comfy, but it was cold so he wore pants which helped. Also having rugs and only putting him down in those areas helped as well.

We have carpet and my daughter still army crawled when she was crawling. Then for like 2 weeks, she crawled regularly and then started walking. Some kids just army crawl instead.
