Science! My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
help! earlier today, my daughter was sleeping on my chest, and she stopped breathing for a good few seconds, since then, she has been awake, and won't fall asleep unless I'm holding her. I try to put her down, even on my lap and she won't fall asleep unless I'm holding her... we've been feeding her more and more, I can't pump anything else.. I want to fall asleep with her because that is literally the only way she's sleeping but my SO is against that, and pulls the whole "if something happens to her, you'll never forgive yourself" card... meaning, everyone has been fussing at me for sleeping with her before saying that what if I roll over on her and suffocate her... so now, I'm downstairs, in the recliner watching TV to NOT fall asleep because I'm tired of everyone judging me for sleeping with my child when she doesn't sleep... please, someone help me out.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
one thing I dint like about breastfeeding? ...my husband gets to sleep while I have to stay up and feed the baby and wait till she falls asleep again idk if it's hormones but I'm so tired I could cry
I cannot get my baby to sleep.. she's fed, clean.. starts to fall asleep then wakes up within minutes crying.. so i guess I'm in for a long night.. already couldn't sleep anyway.. Any one else up who'd want to talk to keep me company..?

That happened to me after birth.it lasted about a month and I started sleeping longer. now I go to bed around midnight or 1 and wake up around 9 feeding my son 3x a night.

Yes I am going through this right now I just don't ever feel sleepy. I blame it on hormones lol

@lovelucy i think my body got so exhausted that it had to re regulate to catch up. Hopefully you get some sleep soon😊

@saraguinn23, wow you're probably right! I just got on birth control too so that might be it!

Melatonin is my life saver! Helps me fall asleep but does not make me stay asleep (as in I still wake up easily when the baby makes any noises or even when my husband gets up out of bed)!

@rachokai, good idea! I just haven't been able to find any in store that are vegan, I'll look online though because that is probably my best bet at getting some sleep!

@lovelucy yeah it might be! It's crazy how much hormones effect our body!
