help!
earlier today, my daughter was sleeping on my chest, and she stopped breathing for a good few seconds, since then, she has been awake, and won't fall asleep unless I'm holding her. I try to put her down, even on my lap and she won't fall asleep unless I'm holding her... we've been feeding her more and more, I can't pump anything else.. I want to fall asleep with her because that is literally the only way she's sleeping but my SO is against that, and pulls the whole "if something happens to her, you'll never forgive yourself" card... meaning, everyone has been fussing at me for sleeping with her before saying that what if I roll over on her and suffocate her...
so now, I'm downstairs, in the recliner watching TV to NOT fall asleep because I'm tired of everyone judging me for sleeping with my child when she doesn't sleep...
please, someone help me out.

I actually have that, but she doesn't like hers... she hates her arms bring covered and its uncomfortable for her to have her arms out in that. she freaks out every time I put her in it :( @brittann94 @iqrahp5

@countyourblessings05, trust it gets better... Just give yourself time .. I do recommend a brand of swaddles called swaddle me lol like the lady above said.. They are sooooo super easy to wrap your little girl in... It's Velcro . Total life saver

tell him that your her mom u know what is the best for her.... try swaddleme covers u could find them in babiesrus
Ohhhhh ok now do you swaddle her still????? That's great for sleeping . And also you're a new mom and he's a new dad I'm assuming so it's going to be bad anxiety... Please just breathe you'll get use to it... But try to let her sleep on her own swaddled.....
exactly. shoot I do too. when they wake up I'm up!! my Kids are wonderful. idc how tried I am. and no problem I know how it is. the only thing that people should get upset is when your an overweight mother. cause overweight mothers aren't supposed to sleep next to there babies

I'm the same way with my daughter if I hear a peep I wake up. I'd give them the middle finger, it's your child do what you want to do.

no then ignore them. I sleep next to my babyboy all the time. I also slept next to my daughter when she was a baby!!
@iqrahp5, she won't sleep in the swing. we've tried to put her in the swing and she wakes up instantly screaming until I pick her up.
@monsterbuttsmomma, that is exactly how I sleep with her. I wake up that way with her.
I don't move, and if she makes a sound or move, I instantly wake up.
TBH I've sleeped next to my son since he was born and I have super serious anxiety !!!!!! It happens you'll be fine don't let the negative things eat you up ya know?
I've slept with her a good bit before, and I always wake up the same way I fell asleep with her... but I get yelled at when I sleep with her @amartinez3415

I'd say fuck those people who are giving you grief. I have a two week old who was in the NICU for four days after birth so when she came home she didn't wanna leave me, I slept with her on my chest and nothing happen, I even let her sleep next to me on her back and I'd just wrap my arm around her so I knew not to move that way. But when I put her down for a nap she'll sleep on her own. Just takes a while. They have little bed things you can buy for your baby to sleep in bed with you and you can't roll over on then I forget what it's called tho
you can sleep with her just if you know the way you sleep. if you move a lot then no you can't but if you don't move a lot then you can. simple. my husband moves a lot so I make sure my son isn't near him.

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Ladies, I'm going crazy from not being able to sleep. McKenna won't sleep unless she's being held. Not sure if it's my smell, the warmth, or what but I need sleep! Every night I end up just falling asleep with her but I don't like that at all. It worries me. What do I do?! If I don't get some sleep soon, I'm gonna lose my mind.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
