Question for you mamas should I keep my two older ones home from school. They've been coughing, but no fever. We do give them medicine. I think my oldest coughs cuz he wants the medicine his brother gets. I'm not sure what to do? I don't want the school to call and have them picked up esp since I don't drive and i know my middle one likes to take cough at times since he learned that from his brother.

No, unless the cough is bad then I'd send them to school.

@_sheriee they both sound like they cough up lungs esp when they want medicine. I'd like to know how they got sick they were never outside long waiting for their bus and we kept them in the house for vacation too cold to go outside

@_sheriee they are real coughs from my middle one. Just my oldest tends to fake cough and then eventually catches what his brother has, which it naked it harder to tell if he's faking it or real

They can go to school with a cough as long as there’s no fever. If they sound horrible tho I’d keep them hone

I’d let them stay home just so they wouldn’t get anyone else sick 🤷🏻♀️ missing a day from school never hurt anyone and it gives them time to rest and get better cause who knows? Maybe the rest of the school has something worse lol

@scx327 yeah I called both their schools and told the teachers they don't feel well, but should be returning tomorrow
