This was happening to sky ugh I never figured out what it was tbh 3 days random break outs we gave her benedryl and it went away did she recently have a little cold or stuffy nose anything like that?

@pettybetty, I will.. I have wic at 7:45 and it’s almost 2... and she’s still awake.. and then I have an interview at 10:30 too... I just can’t get a break ever and wish their dad can help me

@sassymomof3 if it is Scarlett fever, she will need antibiotics.

@sassymomof3 I'm not medical professional but my daughter got Scarlett fever several times as a baby and that's what this seems like to me based on what you've said.

@sassymomof3 well I was leaning towards scarlet fever... hang on and I'll find a reference chart. It's caused by the same bacteria that causes impetigo and strep throat.

@pettybetty, she actually does have white on her tongue!! I’ve noticed that, but thought it was her milk doing it... is it something else????

@sassymomof3 if you can, look in her mouth and see if her tongue looks a little swollen or if she has a whitish looking coating on her tongue. Is the rash only on her back?

@sassymomof3 if she has ran fever, I would definitely lean more towards saying it's viral/bacterial and not and alergic reaction. Has she acted like maybe her throat has been hurting?

@pettybetty, wasn’t saying it was impetigo she was diagnosed with it before. And then eczema. This looks like an allergic reaction or still eczema to me. But both of my kids were diagnosed with impetigo not too long ago. So they’ve had a rash for quite sometime but my sons went away and it’s still on her. And yes she has had fevers.. she’s had 2 :/

I would suggest taking her back to the doctor. This doesn't look like impetigo. Excema possibly. But to me it looks more like a viral rash. Which means something else is going on in her little body too. Has she ran any fever lately?

@sassymomof3, Hmm since it doesn’t seem to be working I’d take her in to be checked to see what the doctors think.

She already has some on her. We did it around 9:30

@sassymomof3, Hmm, that could be viral rash maybe? I recommend Benadryl too to help if she’s itchy, or if it’s a reaction.

She’s itchy, she just can’t really tell you. Try giving her some Benadryl

@theinkedmommy, @kkmamax3, she’s also been screaming and crying for 4 days straight now and won’t sleep til 3-4 AM... just crying like she’s hurting .... is there something wrong with her that I do not know about ????

@sassymomof3, is it free and clear? Meaning no smell at all.

If you decide to switch body wash, shampoo, etc I highly recommend baby Dove. This somewhat looks like eczema, and allergies are what cause eczema flare ups. You may need to do oatmeal baths, and try some creams to help (or dove lotion) if it’s eczema.

@kkmamax3, what does free of smell mean? And no we’ve been using the same bath soap on her since she was born and never had a problem unless she’s beginning to be allergic to it now... and no no new foods either.

The soap, is it free of smell? Did you change soap you use on body? Try any new foods?
