Baby likes to sleep on her side more than on her back. Is that normal? I've been told that they should sleep on their backs.
I cosleep because I'm breastfeeding it's just easier and my daughter does the same. She smells on her side every night
Just make sure the surface is comfortable, but flat, and you can prop his back a little to the side so he has some support. Your doc should be asking and encouraging you to give him tummy time soon too....as long as it's supervised of course. But that gives them the practice to lift their head up more and more and build those back, tummy, and neck muscles.💖
Its perfectly fine hun. Its not natural for them to sleep on their backs and they don't feel as secure. At 2 weeks as long as she was supervised, I had her on her tummy and she slept so much better. My doc even encouraged it. At that age on the side won't do any harm cuz they shouldn't be capable of rolling over completely just yet. Some do but not all.
Both my older kids slept on their sides as a baby. Back then everything was different. Lol
