Hart surpassed her birth weight by 9oz and gained 12oz altogether in 1 week. Finally almost 6lbs weighing in at 5lb 13oz. I was hoping she made it back to her birth weight, she did way way better. Makes me happy!

@brittanymetzger2015 no she was born at 35 weeks and was 5lbs 4oz. When she left the hospital she was under 5lbs and they wanted to watch her weight she had to get it back up or she would be back in the hospital.

Baby won't bear weight on leg

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.

10 Ways to Piss off a Pregnant Woman!

10 Ways to Piss off a Pregnant Woman! 10. Tell her your birth story. Even if she starts to walk away, just follow her with every gory detail about your birth. The more painful and horrible, the better. And be sure to keep asking her if she’s scared. If she says “no” just ask her if she’s sure or tell her that she should be. Maybe she needs to hear about your episiotomy again.

Hey preggies! This is like a super nerd alert but I've found an equation developed and validated by researchers/OBs/mathematicians out of Duke Medical Center that predicts birth weight. Out of 87% of births, weight was predicted within 15% of actual birth weight- nearly the same accuracy as birth weight predicted via ultrasound. I just did the equation and if I had Baby D now, she'd weigh 6.46lbs!
