With my first, my water broke. With my second I felt horrible contracions. I knew they were because nothing I did eased the pain. Not walking, sitting or laying and it was constant.

@jleona, what’s the difference between cramps and contractions?

Contractions are much stronger. And I felt them in my upper abdomen too, not just my lower.

I was having contractions but tbh I didn't even know they were I slept through them because they weren't as bad then in the morning it was more intense and little by little they got worse and moments after I was giving birth lol since i was already 9 cm dilated I believe

@mitiacarolina3, basically yes but trust me you'll know it's that because they come and they go mine wouldn't even last minutes apart I would get them 2-3 !!

@mitiacarolina3 yes they will catch yoh off guard. Any pain that you have as you get closer monitor it. Time what you feel, during and between. If walking doesn't help them go away then prepare to go in and be checked. Better to be sent home then wait to late.
