Has any of you mom's had your wisdom teeth pulled tell me your experience?
You'll be swollen for a little bit but boy that Percocet does wonders it would be much more excruciating without it
My insurance didn't cover me getting fully knocked out so I received local Anesthetic. It's not bad just close your eyes, and afterwards when the anesthetic wears off you'll feel the pain but just make sure you get your rx filled within the hour after you leave and take the meds right away.
@proudmommyoftwo_ yeah, I did. Stupid surgeon recommended it. It was AWEFUL. Hurt to breathe. Oh, BUT don't worry, I'm sure you won't have a horror story lol
@proudmommyoftwo_ yes & may I say that when you wake up it is so funny, record yourself lmao
I had the oral surgery, and they put me to sleep and I got them two at a time. My face was soooooo swollen I was embarrassed
I got mine done and thankfully it went smoothly but the pain I was in when I went to lay down to sleep was unbearable. I HAD to take their percocets they prescribed right when I felt I was going to Knock out. If I took it to soon before I fell asleep I would wake up in the middle of the night having to take another waiting for it to go in effect
@mamalambs oh shit! That's crazy! They were rough on one of mine too, they said it was harder to get out & that's where I have pain still sometimes
I got all 4 out at once, wasn't in any pain the next day so after 2 or 3 days I was like I can do whatever & went out in the cold without covering my mouth & smoked a blunt lol girl worst mistakes ever made! Getting a dry socket or pocket whatever it's called was awful! I was in worse pain than the day of surgery. The way they helped was by putting medicated packs into my gums, which hurt like hell going in. I was down for a good 3wks total & still feel pain sometimes & it was a good 4 years ago now. So my advice is LISTEN to everything they say lmao other than that I believe I would have been fine. I got mine done 2 weeks before thanksgiving too, not a good idea lol
They fucked mine up. Too rough and caused blood vessels in my eye to burst so the whites of my eye was bright red with blood for about a week :/ but that's not common. And pain wasn't too bad
Had min pulled at 29. Omg, I got an infection. Worse pain of my life. Even worse than my c-section
