Pookie, see I want a name with a good meaning and that’s why I’m always leaning toward Asher. Lathan means barn lol. In Arabic/Muslim culture it’s best to name with a good meaning. So I definitely understand having a strong and decent name with the meaning. It’s just so hard!!! With my other boys I knew exactly when I heard the names. This one is a bit more difficult lol. I’ve been on so many websites. Dh also likes Adam but I feel it doesn’t go well with Ameer and Zain even though I like the name lol.

Saif means sword, I believe. Hamza (humsa) is my husbands name and it means lion. I love that he and his brothers all have strong names with a meaning. I encouraged him to consider the tradition with our son, but he didn't feel it was necessary. So we just chose non Arabic names with meaning.
