I had the worse day today . My daughter became trapped in her halo sleep sack and was found face down twitching . Her face had red blotches and it appeared that she could not roll back or kick back on her back . I contacted halo and the New Jersey dept of product consumer affairs . They told me my GPU code does not match the GPU code that was recalled in 2013 . So I'm quite alarmed . This is the product and I determined I can't even use a thing in her bassinet or crib . She has to sleep with a heavy onesie .
@virgosweetness, yes she is alright . I just won't be using this product till I know if it safe . I used halo back in 2008 and had never encountered any problems back then . My daughter Haley didn't like prone so I never had her even roll on her stomach . Hannah when you lay her for tummy time will tolerate it . Just this was the first day she rolled by herself .
@fasciamom, they said up to a year to investigate this . Which to me is too long .,they have to investigate if any other complaints were taken on this new GPU . Pediatrician said always a possible Sid risk up to 5 months . I told my mom about this and she said back in the old days nobody knew about sids . They would always lay kids on their stomachs . I'm just hoping the manufacturer or the dept won't sweep this under the rug cause it's not right if this product might be interfering with a baby to move .
