How much do you ladies pay your baby sitters? We're hiring a baby sitter for the first time tomorrow and I don't know…

Aw okay. 10 dollars an hour was my sitters rate but i have 3 kids so she gave a discount per child. First was 10 second is 5 and 3rd was 4

Looks like she is in ohio maybe. For 8 hours that is 200+ plus a day. Thats a lot for one child in my view @ilovemychildren

I babysit a 7 year old and a 2 year old and my sitter pays me $50 for 8 hours.

@beebaby if I was a baby sitter that's what I would charge and that's standard here where I live in California.

How long is she watching them?

I would say $25 an hour for someone less experienced and $35 an hour for someone more experienced that's what Care.com suggests people to charge for babysitting jobs.
