Anyone else's babies drop there dummies 683829291 times at night? Freddie recently started doing this 🙄🙄 the dummy drops out of his mouth, Cries for it then i pop it back in for him to drop it within seconds and it's a continuous circle for about 30 minutes then he sleeps for 2-3 hours then does it again! Driving me absolutely potty he use to sleep 9pm - 8:30am straight 😫 any advice? Has this happened to anyone else?

My son does this but he stands up and throws it across the room then sits down and cries for me to pick it up 😂 I put 2 dummies in his cot now so he can find the other one. Otherwise were the same getting up and having to put it back in. Havnt found any other way to stop it though can't bare to hear him cry for it though makes me all sad lol. Xx

@itscharmainebtw haha its so cheeky he's also half asleep or even asleep when he does it 😂. I call it zombie walk I'm so used to it sometimes I don't realise I've got up. I keep dummies next to me and next to his cot so I don't have to search for one. If you find a solution hit me up lol 😂 xx

@bonnieb, hahaha it's fine and it's weird he isn't even awake when he cries it's in his sleep 🙄😂 so I don't actually pick him up because he doesn't want to be picked up just want his dummy, I don't think it will work he hasn't really been attached to anything expect a dummy 🤷🏻‍♀️ depends what way he is laying if he laying on the right side of his body sometimes he can pop it back in himself with his left hand but a lot of the time he can't find it as it manages to be the other side of the damn cot (no idea what he does with the bloody thing 😂) and if he lays on his left side he won't be able too do it with his right hand as my son sadly had a stroke so his right side of his body is very weak so can't do much with him that arm unfortunately 😥xx

@bonnieb, don't think that would work for my son he is nearly 9 months old 😂 some people say leave him to cry it out and let him soothe himself his own way (suck his thumb) but I don't think I could let him just cry for ages 😪😂x

Yes. I've currently been putting the dummy back in my daughters mouth for 10 mins so far. This can go on for up to 2 hours before she finally goes into a deep enough sleep to not wake up when the dummy falls out. She is 5w3d old. My 2 boys learnt by 8 weeks that if they put their hand at the side of their head they could wedge the dummy to stop it falling out.
