@asiaanddonovanmommy, yeah my mom doesn't want me to get the surgery done because she says I might meet somebody one day that wants kids but I mean I'm not going to have kids for somebody that doesn't have them when I don't you know
@aboutellesbabes, no problem at all. I didn't know they could burn them either. I just found out about it yesterday. She told me they would make an inch incision right above the hairline below your belly and then they would go in and cut the tubes and then burn each of the sides is the one I'm getting done. I was surprised to when they told me. I was just going to get them tied in a knot in case I ever want to get them reversed but I'm 100% positive I don't want anymore kids of my own.
@shyarbrough15, huh okay. I didn't realize you could do so many different procedures. I'll have to do more research! Thanks for the information! I hope you didn't mind me asking questions!
They removed them I don't have tubes I regret signing the papers now but before I went under I told them don't do anything and the doctor forgot and asked my mom and she thought she was making the right choice for me
@shyarbrough15, yea that is exactly my reasoning, as well, with the birth control! It really messed my body up when no was younger. I still have side affects from it! Are you doing the kind where you can get a reversal later on? Or are you doing it like @asiaanddonovanmommy, where they remove them? @asiaanddonovanmommy, why didn't they just tie them? Why did they remove them?
@shyarbrough15 I'm 27 and wanted my tubes tied I signed the paper but my very last appointment I asked where they were cuttin them at my doctor me they were removing both tubes and the day I had my son I told him don't do anything but had 2 be put 2 sleep for my c section and my mom made the decision for me and now I want another baby so bad
@aboutellesbabes, birth controls have a lot of hormones pumped into them and I don't want all those hormones pumped into me and a lot of them have bad side effects. And quite honestly both my babies have different dads. I have one boy and one girl and not looking for a third baby daddy. Even though they're both really good dads but you know what I mean.
You're so young, though! Not judging (I've seriously considered the same thing after this baby). Can I ask why the drastic step from something like birth control to this? Like I said this is definitely going to be an option for me in the future. Just trying to get opinions from all sides!
