I do want to get my A1C down cause ik it’s not only me now it’s another life

I am kinda nervous about the pump b/c it’s like a line in your body and I think you have to be more careful but I’m not really sure

If you talk to your doctor they figure everything else out you dont have to do any work

@jocelynflores7396, the pump makes the frequent corrections much easier. A CGM is a sensor that you insert and wear. It will tell you your blood sugar every 5 minutes. It helps so much! I use a Dexcom. You should give them a call, they can help you figure out insurance and everything like that, they're awesome.

The pump is amazing my a1c was 13.7 when i found out i was pregnant 3 or 4 months latrr it was down to a 6.7

No I do insulin pens but my doctor told me that if I became pregnant I should consider a pump and how does the CGM WORK?

@jocelynflores7396, it's tough but you can do it! I do visits with my endocrinologist once a month and go to a high-risk OB/GYN. I was the same way with my first pregnancy, but it really helped to remember that my blood sugars weren't just affecting me anymore. Do you wear a pump or a CGM?

@jocelynflores7396, you're going to have to increase your insulin, by a lot. Do corrections more frequently. By my 8th month during my last pregnancy, I was taking almost 250 units per day. I eat more complex carbs that are easier for my body to digest. It's a 9 month fight, but just take it one day at a time
