@gabriela_duque18, ugh man that's sucks, seriously you need to eat, at least something small. Don't let these girls freak you out. My doctor said to eat whatever I normal eat in the day. You will puke I'm not kidding that stuff is nasty

@gabriela_duque18 I really wouldnt...everybody metabolizes the sugar differently and you already feel kinda sick when you drink the juice you don't want anything else to throw up. Wouldn't you rather just fast one time and get it done than fail and have to fast again and do the 3 hour test which is more drawing blood

@gabriela_duque18, depends on the yogurt the only thing I ate before mine was fruity pebbles( sugary I know) and I failed mine. But I was also drinking sweet tea 😩

I would just avoid anything else and hope for the best. If you fail you can request to redo the 1 hour one and make appointment in morning and fast

My glucose test was at an appt and I wasn't even told about it til I got there, I had a burrito and a sprite like an hour prior and I passed. BUT I was not told to fast or not. I asked if it was okay and they called the lab and they said as long as it's within 2 hours I should be fine.

My ob told me not to fast then I failed my 1 hour one had to do 3 hour one and passed. When doing bloodwork of any kind you should fast for 8 hours is what my APRN told me. I have to redo a blood draw in September 😩
