Thinking of going on a all veggie & fruit diet. Trying to lose the extra pounds i put on being pregnant. I don't have much to lose but i want to feel confident again. Because not happy with my current weight. I want to exercise too but still healing just had csection 3 weeks ago & im still in pain.
@jayme just let me know maybe I can make you a meal day schedule with what's to eat and some examples
@jayme that's actually but mistake to eating just 2 times a day, with my past experience with bodybuilding , I'm sure recommend you to make standard meals as breakfast, snack between lunch , lunch , snack between dinner , dinner, more you filling you stomach more chance you will any cravings and you just simply will not thinking about buy cheat meal
@dazzlingmommy thanks for your input & support & your kind words. I just think its important that i get in shape.
@momboo I do drink a lot of water that's all i drink. I only eat maybe once or twice a day. I've never really dieted before so not really sure whats healthy outside of veggies.
@jayme, I'm hearing a lot about the Keto diet- which is basically veggies and meat I think. My mom did it for a while and she liked it and lost some weight.
What I did to lose the weight was to try to avoid any and all junk food and sugar. I eat veggies with everything and I minimized the amount of rice and pastas I ate.
I still eat it, just smaller potions.
I walk a lot, exercise and drink a lot of water.
But for the meantime, just try to relax! You have plenty of time to lose the weight & don't be so hard on yourself, you just created a life 😘
@dazzlingmommy agreed, I recommend as well drink a loot of water it's possible to lose some point just by drinking plenty of liquid, fruits are very sugary , better is just to eat more often but by small portion to make your metabolism work faster what's can help loose wait , and the best is without oil food , or maybe lil on olive oil , protein and salad - keys to success!
@dazzlingmommy good to know thanks for the info. I think ill consider a different diet option then. Any suggestions?
Make sure to get your protein in though 👌🏼 Also be careful with the too much fruit because they have lots of sugar in them that will actually make you gain weight. I thought I was doing the best thing to eat a whole bunch of fruit when I was pregnant but I gained so much weight lol (some of it was junk food , not gonna lie 🤣) but my doctor actually told me to watch the fruit!
@jayme, You're welcome hun! I know what you mean though. I was ready to start working out as soon as I delivered! Lol. It was also very stressful and frustrating when it took me more than half of year to get close to my prebaby body/weight back. & I'm still struggling a bit. Some ladies are very lucky and bounce back quick, but it's important to not compare yourself to anyone 😉
