Took me over an hour to get my son to go to sleep and then I placed him in his bassinet. I'm trying to get him sleep in the bassinet instead of the rock & play. He stayed asleep for about 3 minutes before he woke up crying. 😔
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Okay mommas, this is our second night home and little Ryder refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I’ve tried swaddling, feeding him before bed so he isn’t hungry, tried 3 different pacifiers, laid him down awake and asleep. Any ideas?? I just don’t know how else to get him to sleep in his bassinet and not in my arms at night. ** I had no problem with my other two boys laying in their beds but Ryder refuses to leave me.**
Instead of buying a bassinet could my baby sleep in a pack and play beside my bed or a rock and play,until I feel safe with him sleeping in his crib in another room? I see no need in buying a bassinet when he will only be able to sleep in it for a few months anyways. No rude comments! 😀
Anybody baby won't sleep in their bassinet? Is their a way we can make it More comfortable? I was thinking taking a fuzzy blanket and tucking it under the lil mat that's in there because every time I set him down he wakes up right away.. But if I put him in bouncer he will stay asleep or in our bed he stays asleep but I really wanna stop the bed and start bassinet. Any recommendations?
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?

Maybe try putting him on his belly? Only way my daughter would sleep otherwise you gotta do what you gotta do to get rest

@pregomego, it's not safe if you put blankets or anything besides the sheet on the mattress. Both of my daughters only sleep on their bellies.

@kigercass, AAP says it's not safe. I'll follow their guidelines on that. I just ordered a new swaddle that should help so fingers crossed.
