Unpopular opinion: I don't see why some parents put actual shoes on newborn babies. I don't understand it

My son is 8 months I still haven't put shoes on him.. no reason to

Me either. My kids don't get shoes until they're learning to walk and we go outside. Other than that shoes actually prevent the babies from learning to walk properly so its best to keep them off. And shoes are expensive whether its size 1 or size 11. Im not one to waste money so There's no need for shoes when we have socks. Lol

I started when my son could walk and even that not that much. Now I put them on religiously cuz he can walk on his own (duh) but ya I never put shoes on him lol it drove my inlaws crazy 😂

I did when i found a cheap pare. He only wore them for pictures and now im keeping them to give to him when hes older. Their so cute and small 😍

I did but just to keep my sons feet warm in the winter months he was born in december and it was really cold the day i brought him home even

Yeah I mean for pictures I did that too I just meant all the time with every outfit for fun

I'm not buying him actual shoes til he learns how to walk but he has soft shoes for his outfits they're like 3-6$ a piece. 😋

My daughter had tons of shoes and I would try to put them on her sometimes but that would last 3 seconds before she got them off. So I gave up on shoes till she's walking. Some of her shoes she never even wore. I will definitely keep a few pairs as keepsakes though.
