My parents want us to take over their house when they move. It's perfect and exactly what we have always wanted but I'm in no position to buy right now. Ugh. We could rent from them till we are ready but it's $300 more a month than we pay now.
But I want their house so bad. It's 3times the size. Of ours . Has a guest house in back, 1 acre in the country on a corner lot with cow pasture on the other 2 sides. Quiet, peaceful.
Man. I hate that their decision is effecting my future plans. We had a plan dammit! We had a friggin plan. Now it's all our the window.

I mean, that would be pretty awesome! I want a cow SO bad I would try to jump on that opportunity! 😂 But on a more logical note, if ya'll could work it out I am told the schools are better out there!
@beebaby my late aunt did this for over 20 years. She was able to do it from home for the last few years of her life and she loved it.
@lana30319 my little brother and his gf moves back to Michigan last year. So basically everyone is abandoning me. They moved here 20 years ago. I don't get why now everyone wants to go back. I guess it's me. 😐
@beebaby omg I'd love that. I should ask my dad to borrow the $ to pay for my med Billing and coding class. I was almost finished with it before Harrison was born but then he came so early and was in the NICU so long, I never finished.

Idk it's just scary!!! But it could be the best thing to ever happen to us.
@beebaby I'm PT. I could go FT , but we really didn't want to put Harrison I'm daycare because of all his health issue. Like he has a feeding tube and on a strict diet and about 6 months behind
@tworuzgirls eh, well LEGALLY, it can't be rented...I mean we lived there, my little brother and his gf lived there, my grandparents stayed there before the passed.
The only other family I could get to rent it would be my MIL. But she'd have to move here from Michigan. We have talked about it but haven't asked her yet.
@beebaby for the first year my dad said he'd pay the difference of what we pay now for rent and the mortgage so he'd pay the $300. Because he would be living in the guest house till the school year ends next May.
But after that it would be up to us to either, pay the mortgage monthly til we can get our own mortgage and buy it. Or find something else and dad will sell it.
But the not knowing of we could afford it in a year...and then we would have to move again
Our plan was to live in this rental house till we bought our forever home. I don't want to have to move again in a year. But my dad thinks this is a great opportunity for us.
Don't feel that way. Maybe things were good and exciting back when they moved! But that is a long move. Also try and see if any small business owners can use your service.
