So I wanted to name my daughter Serenity & then my brother & parents called me after they had a whole house meeting saying the name “wouldn’t get her a job”.. now I’m back to square one 🙄

Name her what you want. She's your child. Serenity is a beautiful name. Nobody really liked my kids names at first either but now that they're both here the names have grown on people and they say they couldn't picture their names being anything else.

@makeupmomplustwo_, exactly, i remember when i chose the spelling of my daughters name Aulyvia-Rose my hubby family was soo against it kept saying she would be made fun of or be bullied i was like first off its still pronounced Olivia and second since when do u spell your name out to people like hey my name is A..U.. bla bla bla and you know what i still named her like that i love it soo thats what counts
