@mommysbabies how did you like them with the extra straw like and can it be removable?

I used them with my first and absolutely loved them!

They are a pain to clean but only ones son didn't fuss with but the do have ones that can be used with or without

@trice4990 are those with the bag or the blue piece in the bottom? I've heard the blue piece if not in correctly the bottles will leak. Have you had any problems with them?

@hanahmarie2183, not the ones with the bags. I did buy those ones and I absolutely hated them because air kept getting into the bag and there was no room to jam your hand up there to squeeze the air out! Playtex ventaire does have the little rubber things in the bottom but they've never leaked for me! Since they're a little bent they seemed to help my little man hold the bottle too! He's been holding it since he was 3 months old! Ive bought the doctor browns ones, the playtex bag ones and the ventaire ones and we're going on 11 months now and I'll never use anything different for all my kids

@trice4990 i had a similar experience with our middle child, I didn't breastfeed her long because she got lazy and then she was picky with bottles. I tried Gerber (old school version, gave her colic), tried nuk and she wouldn't latch and got cheap brand wide neck and she took them now at 8 months old she takes the nuk soft spout sippy cup.

We use breast flow and Avent. I plan on trying the newer parents choice wide neck bottles as well. Ive read and heard good reviews on them.

@sixplus1 what are brest flow bottles? I've never heard of them.

@hanahmarie2183, my son had colic really bad too so that's why I tried so many different bottles. I had a feeling my baby would have colic (because I have that kind of luck) so I bought the ventaire ones even before he was born! But when the colic was diagnosed I tried different bottles to see what worked best and i realized it was more of the formula I had to play with then the bottles

I like avent and dr browns but this time around I got some Nuk bc I heard they're closest to a real nipple. (I'm planning to breast feed and pump)

@hanahmarie2183, no but switching the formula helped! Only took me 4 times to get it right!

@khadijah78610 i hope nuk works for you, when i stopped breastfeeding my middle child at 3 months old she wouldn't latch nuk, but took Avent natural brand and at 8 months old i switched her to nuk soft spout sippy cup.

@trice4990 thats awesome! My first 2 wouldn't digest regular formula, our first had to drink Gerber soothe after i stopped breastfeeding her at 6 months and our 2nd similac soy after stopped breastfeeding her at 3 months. So i have a feeling our newest will have to also be on a sensitive brand of formula.

@hanahmarie2183, yep gerber soothe was the only thing that worked for him! And it was a little bit more pricy with no coupons around for it so we kept trying to switch it and within a few hours I would be running back out to the store to buy more gerber!

@hanahmarie2183 i ebf for about the first 4-6 weeks then transition to breast and bottle. These were so easy to transition with bc the bottles requires the same technique as the breast.

@sixplus1 thank you, I'm going to do more research on those. They aren't very common. Did you have any bad experience with them?
