Just finished up seeing my nurse midwife, my BP was 138/82, so she did some baseline blood work, checked for protein in my urine (there was none), did a 20 minute non-stress test on the baby (baby did perfect)... and sent me home with a jug to collect my urine for 24 hours! 🤦♀️🙄 oh joy! I have an appointment next week and they are going to set up another growth scan, just to make sure baby is still growing on track! 😅 next week is going to be busy! But at least they are taking this very seriously... so that gives me comfort!

@athomas, that's what I'm hoping for also... I think I was a little anxious about everything... with my first, I went to see the midwife... and was immediately sent to the hospital... no bags or anything! So I think going in I was a little worried about that... but once I got there and we talked a bit... I felt better! Planning to take my BP later tonight... she feels like my BP's are probably more accurate at home where I'm most calm

Yes definitely. That's the truth on the bp. The thing I would worry more about is if you start getting shortness of breath really bad to the point you feel like your drowning and can't lay down.

@athomas, yeah, she said if anything changes I'm to call immediately! So far I've not dealt with much shortness of breath! My mom is sticking around for at least another week, and said if I need her she will stay longer
