This was about 15 minutes after Evar was born. He immediately started to nurse, and I assumed it would be smooth sailing from there. Boy, was I wrong!! I went through SO much pain the first 4 weeks of breastfeeding. Bleeding, dry, and cracked nipples plagued me for what seemed like forever. Every time he would nurse, I would scream and cry out in pain. It hurt worse then labor. (And my labor was NO picnic)

I continued through the pain, and so thankful that I did. Looking at this picture, and at my son now, makes me feel like supermom, knowing he's where he's at now, solely because of ME💕 ...or I guess my boobs.. but you know😉
