Ladies, i need guidance. Today i was told to reschedule something sooner for my OB because the baby's ultrasound showed the cord around her neck. The clerk for appointments just said "do yoyre kick counts". Is there another way of knowing if the baby is okay, aside from the kick counts?
Count your kicks! Ladies... please, please, PLEASE count your kicks every day! I feel like I've read about too many losses this late in pregnancy and it breaks my heart to hear about it.
At how many weeks do I start counting the kicks and how many kicks is normal throughout the day?
I Couldn't get a kick count today 😔. I'm pretty worried...
Doctor sent me home and said I need to continue to count kicks and count contractions because if there is a change in either they may go ahead and take my baby...
It literally took me until just not to realize that counting lil mans kicks also meant that his rolling and nudging counted as "kicks" also.... 🙄 they just meant to keep track of his movement and I should feel him move about 10 times every few hours

@inkedizzy i glad you got rescheduled sooner....the receptionist has no medical expertise and even if she did ask her would you just do kick counts? Give the me appt ....its crazy what could happen.... let us know everything is ok!

@inkedizzy oh so your ultrasound place is different than your OB? I would try to get in tomorrow to see what they want you to do because 36 weeks is to early for baby to be born. Im sorry I couldn't help you as much. My friend had the same issue but she was 38 weeks and they did the c section since she was full term.

When did they do the ultrasound? At my OB when they were doing my vag check, they felt something hard like her butt so they did an ultrasound & she was footling breech and chord around her neck so they scheduled a c section for the next day. I was 39 weeks though. How far along are you?
