haha. yea mines active at night always when I lay down. she tipple tails and my bumb grows horns where shes kicking her feet out. being head down since 30 weeks @b.margyte can you imagine the day when they leave n were empty with no more moving :( x

he used to be ready active but past 3 night haven't been as many, I'm worrying but listened to his heartbeat this morning and he's fine, there's no way of me getting to hospital to be monitored so I reassure myself with the heart doppler x

@kellybear25, getting kicked and poked as i type this 🙈 like i wouldnt be able to count them even if i wanted to imagine speaking to a customer and telling them "hang on ill call you back gotta count these kicks" 😂🙈 id be fired on the spot i think

@b.margyte, same for me. I know her movements now and whats normal. was told tho its not the kicks its the period of movements. mines also very active ide say awake and moving more times than shes asleep lol xx

I never counted tbh ! Because he is such an active baby i think it would be easy enough for me to notice reduced movement plus if he sticks to his wee "lets kick while mum is at work and on call" routine then to the before i fall asleep tango im happy enough :D all to their own tho ! I just dont think i notice all of the kicks atm because of how used to them i am

@jessicahorn, no worries it's shocking because the midwives don't give you much info on it...also @leighamy123 there's no set number for anyone just once you realise how often your baby is moving that number should be your goal. For example if baby moves 8 times per day but one day only moved 4 times you'd need to go in for monitoring. I'm a total worrier so I've read loads about all this 😂

@jessicahorn, if you have a look at count the kicks it's absolutely vital to count them...if baby has reduced movements it could mean there is something wrong with him or her which could result in stillbirth if not monitored as soon as the reduced movements become apparent. Any reduction in movements you have to ring the midwife unit to go in for monitoring. I've had a couple of scares and each time I've went in they've told me I should contact them at any point x

28 weeks and I was told 10 kicks in 12 hours x

@leighamy123, if you're on Facebook search for a page call count the kicks, they give you all the info you need & you can order a wristband I have one where you can keep track of baby's kicks each day. 30 weeks was when my baby really got into a proper routine with movements x
