🙋🙋🙋So my doctor had mentioned trying to get on birth control to regulate my periods and to help with ovulation. Well I told her no because I didn't want to stop and take BC. I felt like that was opposite of what I was trying to do. Well now it's almost been 2 years ttc and I want to give it a shot. But ive only head bad stories. Has any one ever taken BC for these reasons then stopping to try to get pregnant and was successful?? I need some success stories to help me decide. 😀

It's the only thing I know to do. My mom did it both times she got pregnant. So that's why I thought it might help. If I don't have a period I can't tell when I'm ovulating. So it makes it harder. Idk it's already been two years since we started ttc and I just want to try something.

You don't need regular periods to get pregnant. I had maybe 5 periods in 3 years and at least 2 of those were medically induced cycles. I have been able to get pregnant twice by taking medication to start my cycle and then using various fertility assistance methods.

@ttc620, I personally think all bc is bad for ur body. Have u considered other options I have several friend that had artificial insemination and it was a success I would seek a specialist. I think it's affordable as well.
