I'm so irritated! The gym I joined has a daycare center & today I tried to use it for the first time, they wanted to put Eva in this little room all by herself with a bouncer & 1 little toy but Eva just wanted to be in the other room with all of the other kids. They said she couldn't because she isn't walking or 11 months old but she's pretty close to walking! She can hold onto things & walk across them just like this other little girl was doing (who did not look anywhere near 11 months) so I just left because I'm not sticking my baby in a small room by herself when she got so excited seeing the other kids play. So no workout for me today until hubby gets home to watch her. I'm just so frustrated because she's bigger than most of the "11" month olds in the playroom. I just pictured how sad she would've been in that little room looking through the glass at all of the other kids playing :( why should I spend all of this money on a gym membership & even extra for her to be in the daycare just for them to stick her in this tiny ass room?! No thanks!
Yeah that's terrible.. I trust the people at the daycare I just would rather her not be alone so I'll just wait until she starts walking which will probably be soon! @beebaby,
The girls at the daycare I was at before this one didn't even take your child out of the carseat. They don't change them, or feed them. Nothing. The one I am at now is great other than all kids are in the same room. I don't mind because mind at 6 and 3 but I don't think its right
Yes mama i wouldn't keep my girls there also but i do give them props for their safety measures ... they are doing the right thing
Yeah I understand it's a liability thing but she's bigger than most of the kids that were in there! & some of them couldn't walk either so I just didn't understand. She's a bully though so maybe it's a good thing I didn't let her stay I would've probably gotten a call saying she hit another kid or pulled some little girls hair lol @beebaby,
It is just for her safety so she doesn't get ran over but I understand. My gym has a daycare and the kids are all together. I feel bad for the little ones because they are constantly getting knocked over by the bigger kids but at the same time you don't want you kid to have to come and sit down because there are little kids around. Kind of a catch 22
Yup
