That type of thing pisses me off. One of my gfs is still butt hurt bc she messaged me saying she was moving her shower from Sat to Sun. I told her I could make it on Sunday. She left it at Saturday, as I told her, I couldn't go. I offered to bring her son's gifts over to her house. She never answered me. Her son is like 2 months old now. I friggin tried. Well hopefully they will show up. Especially when it was planned to far in advance. I do that with my kids birthdays and people still give excuses that they had previous plans.

Ya, he's contacting his friend now and his other friend and seeing if they can meet down in Fredericksburg. I mean at least at the shower they'll be fed etc. If we go up there who the heck knows. @roche.mommy6435 I just wanted him to see that knowing that this baby shower plan has existed for 2 months, that is PLENTY of time to make arrangements if theyre such great friends.

I get really car sick this pregnancy even when i drive. And i drove from Arizona to Ohio to see my best friend. It took 3 days as i was the only driver. I think an hr drive wont kill her lol

Ya, that's what I was telling him. I told him she needs to meet us somewhere because she needs to be reasonable. We are using gas and money as well as my discomfort and more risk for blood clots @rebeccca3009

@twinpeanut, that's quit a drive for being pregnant from va beach to southern Maryland. I live in southern Maryland and it's always a long drive from here to anywhere else.

It's not just you and it isn't unreasonable. What is unreasonable, is her thinking she can't make an hour trip because she's pregnant, when you're also pregnant and doing 3+ hours lol. What sense does that make?

My pregnant friends are coming to the shower bc im only making this long trip once so i will give their gifts there. I don't mind

She can either travel the little hour or not see y'all. That's selfish of her to think you should travel 3+ hours and then on top of that, another 1-2 hours just to see her. She can put in a little effort.
