Someone please tell me if you know what this is? My son has had it for two months. It started on his elbows as little almost blister looking bumps and has spread all over him and now looks like this when it starts. It's not any of the five deadly rashes the doctors say but two different practices haven't been able to tell me what it is.
Yeah but for two months? I am just at a loss of what it could be. I have treated it with anti fungal ointment in case it was ring worm and it didn't go away. I treated it like poison ivy and it started to go away but never really cleared and I have rubbed steroid cream on it now and it was almost gone yesterday except for three spots and now it's back everywhere.
And i read where you said they almost disappear and come back, my son's did that too. The doctor said it acts like it's going away then it appears somewhere else on the body. He had it everywhere and it looked exactly the same.
My son had something that looked like that once. It started out as little bumps, then turned into little bulls-eye shaped things. People said it looked like ringworm. It was actually something called erythema multiforme, the doctor said it was his body's reaction of fighting off a virus. Maybe it's the same??
I thought allergy too but nothing at all has changed in his detergent or food. Except adding actual milk to his diet but I don't think it would be all over him if that was it
Maybe its an allergy??? Cause i had something lime tbat i thought it was ring worm but it was all o er so i had a biopsy done and found out i was allergic to perfumes and fragrance so i had to change soaps and deodorants.
It's not ring worm because it isn't raised around the edges and the splotchy part fades away throughout the day and it ends up looking like little poison ivy blisters almost. But it isn't poison ivy either. They will almost clear completely up and then they come back. He did start to scratch them which is why I took him to the second doctor and all they told me to do was give him Benadryl and that they had no idea what it was.
The doctor said it could take a while to go away. But it really does look like what my son had. Could always try another doctor, that's what i had to do. If it is what he has, then he might need some type of steroid to help clear it up.
