On the chance you do move out and he goes somewhere else, you can petition for child support. He's legally required to provide for the kids, so the court can make him provide if he refuses. You'll have to look into the state laws for all the details, but that's definitely an option.

Are there any packaging or large production factories nearby? They generally pay well($17-20 an hour, maybe $15 starting) but usually don't require a GED or diploma.

You can go to a woman's shelter for mental abuse too which is what he is doing

Physical outlash regardless of whether it was to you directly is a dangerous path to even start on, so at the very least be careful he doesn't escalate it. What kind of work are you looking for?

I mean he mentally abuses me maybe by all the things he calls me and says to me but he has never hit me yes he may have tried to hit the side of my truck to keep me from leaving him down at the creek but he didn't hit me he just scratched my truck nothing. That can't be fixed

@rhealize, I'm not abused so I don't want to use the resources that those who are truly going through abuse need I just need a job you can ask anyone I don't try to take advantage it's not in me and my kids would be so hurt if I had to let our dogs go

You should look up a women's shelter in your state. Tennessee has at least three that I know of. Two of those are pretty good. They usually take in women and children who need help for any reason. I'm not sure whether they allow pets though.

And even if we had to move my husband would prob go to his moms and they prob wouldn't welcome me there because even though his mom knows everything she of course is still on his side @rhealize,

@rhealize, it would deff go to bills and kids my husband has said he isn't paying our bills anymore and I just had to sell my dog pen for 200 just to get 10 for gas and pay my water and gas luckily I got that paid and now my rent has already been late this month hasn't been paid and I'm looking at still not getting it paid this weekend so idk what to do I can't believe my husband has let us Down like this and now I'm on the verge of having to move 3 kids and 3 dogs out of a house and prob gonna have to sleep in my truck I have no where to go because my mom has a house full of dogs and my brother and sister and my husbands mom and step dad aren't gonna want us all there so idk what to do my husband has lost it

I know several women who started one for similar reasons. They only asked for a small amount like $2000 to make it through the next month until they could get back on their feet. As long as all the money goes to bills and your kids I don't think it's something to feel guilty about. 😊

Worst that could happen is the GoFundMe account doesn't take off. I say go for it. Just be sure to make your story as clear and honest as possible. Don't try exaggerating it to play on emotions cause people hate that. Then just share it on social media platforms every couple of days. If the platform runs on tags like Instagram, be sure to tag your post with as many relevant tags as possible to reach a bigger audience.
