Hello! Wondering what other moms think about vaccines? I've done my research and although it makes me nervous to give vaccines because of the information that's out there, it also makes me nervous to not vaccinate. My babies 4 month dr apt is coming up and I'm reading a lot of posts about little ones getting sick after shots... just wondering what other mamas do or how other mamas got over the vaccination fear and got the shots? My husband is in a medical field so he has no question or doubt about getting our baby vaccinated.
Get her vaccinated but do the delayed schedule, so its less of the stuff in her body all at once!
I'm a geneticist, biology scientist and a mother of a 21 month old. Please visit the CDC website and the NIH for accurate information about vaccinations and talk to your pediatrician about your concerns. :) there's a lot of posts on the internet about vaccinations and not all of them are correct or true! Vaccines work. They protect your kid, my kid, and the kids with immune disorders who cannot be vaccinated. You can message me in private if you'd like to talk more about this! :)
We delayed them. But it's something you need talk to your doctor about it
I see a lot of ladies on her that's getting shots for different things, I haven't got one shot or my dr haven't mentioned anything about a shot. I wonder why
so i'm a ftm and i was definitely going to give my son all his shots when they were needed. but then i see all these posts about vaccinations on the daily and it makes me wonder what you mamas have done and experiences any info would help. any problems with baby with/without shots? i do not want to start a feud so please do not start anything on this post i am just wanting to know information from real moms and your experiences rather than just asking my dr only and looking it up on the internet.
So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. It’s crazy how when vaccines even started or came about we were told it would be voluntary but now it’s mandatory and people need a verification card to go certain places. We even have certain states doing lottery drawings just to make people get it. people shouldn’t fear losing their jobs or having to go against their relig...
Have any of you mommies rejected vaccinations for all babies ? I'm really thinking about not allowing my baby to receive them because my nephew gets sick everytime he gets his shots !
Has anyone here taken the non egg flu vaccine? My specialists are putting a lot of emphasis on me considering this non egg version of the vaccine because I have autoimmune issues and I’m a sepsis survivor so I can get infected easier. However, this particular vaccine is more powerful than the egg derived shot and it makes me really nervous. I have never taken a flu shot and only got it in 1999 and 2013. I just don’t know if I’m willing to risk it and would love to talk to someone like me wit...
I got my daughter vaccinated and thank God she never ran a fever or was cranky. She just had little knots left behind that went away with massages.
