I was cleared at 6 weeks postpartum and for 6 weeks following that i made excuses "I don't have time", "i don't have the money", "I'm so tired all the time"... Well I had a reality check and a dear friend put me on check and said what I'm really hearing is your health (physical, mental and emotional) is not a priority. Talk about being blunt... so I reevaluated my excuses and guess what?! I looked at my schedule and FOUND my 30 mins to be able to commit to exercise, I looked at my bank statement for the previous month and OMG was I spending money on PURE junk (every dollar adds up) no wonder!, and with looking at my schedule I realized there was no need to stay up late if the kids are asleep so now I get 5 hours of sleep instead of 2/3 like I was... when I did all this I realized I did have time, I did have the money, and I'm causing my own exhaustion. It was a matter of prioritizing and CHOOSING not to making excuses. I'm only 2 weeks in and I'm so happy I CHOSE to be healthy mentally, emotionally and physically cause you know what? You can't pour from an empty cup and I was getting to the end of mine...this is only the beginning 💕#3monthspostpartum #fightingppd #21dfx #healthyisachoice
