I had a lactation consultant come to my house yesterday because my baby has had a hard time latching. Come to find out my baby has a lip tie and a tongue tie. So she showed me a couple positions for breastfeeding but after she left my baby wouldn't latch again. Any other moms out there with this problem? Any helpful solution? I'm trying to get as much information and advice I can on it!

My sister had tongue tie and had to get that little bit cut while in the hospital.

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
So the baby has a lip & tongue tie so last night i supplemented with formula and only had him latch a few times throughout the night, now this morning when i pumped barely any colostrum came out 😭😭😩😩 i hope my milk still comes in! I plan to have him latch every time before he eats from now on last night i was just sooo tired.
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Welp if it makes y’all feel better , I was hoping my own baby didn’t come out ugly because my baby daddy be looking ugly to me sometimes .
Make an appointment for her to get it looked at..... They may have to be clipped.... Longer you wait the harder it can get. If she is able to latch them you may not have to do it now, but in later life it could affect her speech but just depends. @darryanjaye
