I have to say this! It's bugging me hard! Recently we've all seen on Facebook, the new, etc. That this smart mom Paid her rent for a year plus a deposit. She states she is a single mom! My question is, mainly to all those who have given her negative comments for doing so, and about being a bad mom and she should have spent that money on material things that her kids will outgrow, but yet I give her props! Now not only will she be able to buy these things for her kids, but plan for summer, maybe Disney?, she will have extra money at the end of every month until that lease needs to be renewed. Also, those who talk bad about being a single mother and not to bring kids into the world and such. How do you know her husband left her? How do you know he didn't die? Maybe due to a tragic accident? Causing her to be left in home she could not afford by herself, so she had to relocate her family? I do not know this woman or her circumstances, but assuming is terrible and it makes an ass out of u and me. I've been a single mother and it's hard! I love my kids but they don't need much of anything. Their wants are just that. Wants! And my children are beyond spoiled! I am now married and have a 10 year old son, 3 year old daughter, 7 month old son and am about 3 months pregnant, again.
I expect to get negative comments over this but I am going to end this rant with this.

There are always people who will be negative no matter what. "You gave food to those hungry kids but why didn't you give some to those kids over there?" I think she was very smart, and now she doesn't have to worry about rent every month. Every time rent is getting due we get a smidge stressed, hold off on things until after it's paid. That's $450 a month now that she can use to spoil her kids if she wants.
And you are so right, no one knows a strangers story. It might have been a tragedy. Or maybe he did leave her, or her kids have different father's, but so what? That doesn't make her any less of a mother who loves her kids, or any less deserving of being a mother.
