I say once you get baby in crib it will get easier so ask her to stick it out a week or so, else I would have baby sleep with you. It's your baby

My daughter goes my my mil when it's her nap time. I feel weird about it because I'm here too but I think she's more comfortable with my mil than me and my big belly! She's gonna move into my sil's room in a month, so the twins can stay in my room.

Of course he sleeps soundly b'coz he's sleeping beside someone. He'd do the same if it were you. If you're trying to train him to sleep in his crib then she needs to step aside and let you parent him.

Try getting him used to the crib by having sleep there for his naps.

@deckroth2001 the problem is that the people I live with wake up, and BITCH. @twinmommabellahali he doesn't want to be with me. I'm assuming it might be out mattress and his crib mattress. @ginz I'm also starting nursing school on Monday, and if I'm not getting proper sleep or if my son isn't getting proper sleep it'll be hell for everyone.

Is this a alpha mom thing like you don't want to be second best to your baby what's the reason you feel weird

@saritaoside I definitely do think I want to be alpha mom, and feel jealousy.

I feel ya when I lived with my MIL I hated it I would intentionally do things to make her look bad 😂 I cleaned the entire house and folded all the laundry she would get all pissy hahah your baby will love Grandma because she is Grandma and he will love you because you are you and it sounds like you are going to need the help once school starts. If you can swallow your pride it could be a really good thing. Think about it this way if it was your Mom asking to help you would probably be thrilled so why is this different. I know the pride is hard though to give up though.

@saritaoside I tell myself that all the time. I know that I would be thrilled if my mom would be as involved in my sons life as my MIL is. My man has been telling me that I'm gonna be needing all the help I can get with school coming along.

Maybe you can try spending some time with MIL become friends as women we see our MILS as competition because the love our husbands have for them should be our love it's kinda greedy but it's how we operate. Obviously he will always love his Mom so no use in fighting it. Learn to love her if for any reason because your son will and he will want you to share that love.

Unless she is as crazy as my MIL then you can be as greedy as you want 😜

@saritaoside Girl, she's crazy. Everyone that meets her does not like her. Not even my sons daycare teachers like her. She's the type of woman that tells people on the public bus to stop talking so loud and lower down the volume
