Does anyone know if medi-cals dental covers a wisdom tooth extraction? My wisdom tooth is impacted and causing me pain. Im still waiting to see if its covered, i cant afford $400.

They told me it was covered if it was medically necessary. Mine were impacted to and caused me alot of pain it was covered. So yours should be to

it depends what state you are in and situation. in california they cover tooth extractions as long as no surgery needed. meaning reg tooth extraction is covered. other stuff they cover like 80 percent of it.

@savvysmom they popped all 4 of mine out and it wasnt even necessary at the time... just did it so it wouldnt end up hurting later on
