When did you switch you baby from the infant car seat to the next one up. I have the Graco extend2fit 3in1. But I don't know when to switch her?

When she hits the height or weight limits, or is 1 inch away from the top of the seat back on its highest setting. But she really can go in a convertible at any time, as long as the seat has infant support

As long as she can fit the requirements for next seat you can use it anytime. My son is 16 lbs and 26" at 8.5 months old. While he won't reach the max for a bit I'm still switching him come spring time just because it's easier. I didn't want to do it yet because it's still winter and he can stay warmer in his car seat.

@jacesterlingsmommy, @lizibear84, my daughter is 7 weeks and she's already 24.5". I feel like I'm always changing the settings on her car seat because she's tall like her daddy. But she only weighs 10 pounds

We switched my daughter around 8 months 15lbs but her car seat now goes from 5-65lbs I just couldn't keep carrying around the infant one

If it were me I'd just wait. Especially since she's so young. It's nice to be able to carry baby's seat since she can sleep and she can't sit up yet. What kind of seat do you have? I mean I always have to change the straps when getting my son in and out for ease of convinence.

That's what we have too. Love it!!! But like I said I'm always adjusting the straps everytime I buckle him in or out.

That's what I do. But she just seems like she's so tall for being so little that I'm constantly moving them up spaces so they fall at her shoulders @jacesterlingsmommy,

She does sound tall! My son is on the shorter side though too. The straps can actually be below her shoulders as well just not above.

In an infant seat, the straps need to be at or below shoulders. So it's ok if they're below
