Twin well it was a full bed at 2 with my first. ( I was young n couldn't afford to buy one) so my sis give me her kid old one. With my 2nd kid I got her a toddler bed n she have a twin now that she is 4.

I never used a toddler bed. Thought it was a waste of money. Dd was using a twin by the time she was almost 2.

My son was 1 year. He got the hang of it quick and slept longer right away than in his crib.

Aliyns 2 and a half and still in her cot. She knows how to climb it but has only done so once and is happy in it. I will when we move in a few months but as long as she is happily sleeping I will keep her in it and live the fact I know she is in one spot! Lol

My oldest at 15 months because I was due with our second 3 months after. My second at 18 months. My oldest went from a toddler bed to a twin bed when he turned 3 and my youngest kept the toddler bed although they both end up sleeping together in the twin bed

I would leave them in a crib as long as they will stay! When they start crawling out is when I would switch! It is so much easier to keep them contained in a crib :)

I think we are going to wait and see how things are when we move into our own house, we are going to start looking after the holidays, I prefer to skip the toddler bed because I feel like it's a waste but the room DS is in right now won't fit a twin bed in it because it's my In laws computer room.
ETA : it's a regular bedroom but they have a desk in there

Ivys almost two and a half and still in her crib. I plan on going right to a twin bed. I got lucky, and she has yet to try to get out of her crib. She's so short though, so I'm not sure she can lol.

My LO is 18 months. I switched her at 12 months. It went very smoothly.
They say the sooner you do it the easier it is.

Dd1 co-slept with us until 16 months. Then we moved her into her own room. It still took a transition period of many months and we'd often have one of us sleeping in there for a little bit.
Dd2 is 18 months and still co-sleeps. She's still breastfed too, so she likely won't move into her own bed for a while.

My first 2 were 18 months and my 3rd was 20 months. All 3 slept better in the toddler bed than the crib. Very easy transition for them.

We went straight to a twin bed and skipped the toddler at 3
We had took off the front rail of his crib at 2

About a month or two before his second birthday, although we had a new baby coming so we needed the crib lol

We just started using one a few days ago. DD is 17 months. She sleeps in it until about 1 a.m. Then she wants in bed with me.

My son turns 2 in January and I'm looking into getting him a twin bed. His crib is already converted to a toddler bed and has been for like 6 months now.

We just bought a twin frame for LO. He's 20 months we still need a mattress and box spring. It's pretty low to the ground and we still need to get a side rail.
We're skipping the toddler bed because I'm pretty sure he hates the way his crib mattress feels. Plus I don't want to have to turn around in a year and have to buy a new bed.

My dd is 2.5 and still in her crib. She has never tried climbing out and she's too scared to try. Switching my ds to a toddler bed was a nightmare for us so I'm waiting. I'll probably try after the holidays are over.

My son is 2 and he's getting one for Christmas. I would've gotten him one sooner if he had his own room though, we share a room
