Pet peeve:
At 8 months pregnant with our second baby in only a little over a year, I HATE hearing "Wow you're so much bigger than you were at this stage with the first!"

I would punch you in the penis if I was her. Leave the poor girl alone about her weight! Also I know your pain with the adoptive parents...you have every right to be angry.
