Hey ladies question... (long post)
Here's a little back story, & I don't broadcast this much, but my daughter is not my husbands, biologically. I met my husband when she was 8 weeks old. He's been the rock that holds our family together, while her biological father not only kicked me out of our house at 7 months pregnant (for hiring a professional to clean the house. He called it 'an invasion of his privacy'), he smacked my daughters head into the ground at 4 weeks old because he was angry at me...

Between my husband still being at work, my oldest screeching in her crib because she doesn't want to go to bed, and the little guy constantly crying from teething, I've never been so in need of a drink in my life 🍹

Long vent: I am beyond tired of family trying to force a positive relationship between me and my sibling.
Every time I've taken a step in the past to just be done with them, I get a call from my mother/father, and when I explain what happened, every. single. time I've been told to 'be the bigger person' and 'she'll mature and get better, family is important so try to make things good between.'

Vent:
Oh my God, as much as I love my kids, sometimes I just need 15 minutes to myself! Please for the love of Jesus can ya'll just hang out quietly while I even Goddamn take a shower! I'm so tired of thinking I've got both down to nap, sneaking out of the room to start the water to wash or get a bite to eat in the kitchen, and as soon as I put food on the plate or hop in the shower I hear screeching bc someone's lost a pacifier or needs a sippy cup! Jesus take the wheel today, I don't know why...

Venting: Now that I'm a mother of two, I realize just how necessary it is to cut people out of your life for your sanity's sake - even if they're family.
When your sibling is so unreliable that they constantly bail on plans, or are hours late, when you have your kids out where you planned to be, on time, and now we're forced to either sit in the car for an unknown amount of time until they arrive (hell no) or just pack up and go home again, it's just too much.

Yah know, we may not have it all together, and sometimes life is just rough - but when my husband gets home from a 11hr day busting his ass outside working to support our little family, and the first thing he does is throw on clean clothes & come play with our son... makes my heart melt. 💕
