Yes they ALWAYS drug test you at your first ob appt. if you pass they don't mention it. But if you fail, they'll repeat it and if you fail 3x, social services will open a case on you. If your baby tests positive for any drug at birth, your baby will go into foster care. I am a foster parent and know all about the drug protocol for every state. Give me a bit to read through my handbook and I can actually get you the laws that state those things. Please don't do drugs while pregnant. Weed may be legal in some states, but in most it isn't and they treat weed just like meth during pregnancy.

@b3autifulm3ss They always drug test at my OB, I figured it was just something everyone does for the safety of the baby.. but thanks for the FYI and i agree it's definitely not.okay to smoke while pregnant

@lezlie527 they don't always drug test... still not okay to smoke while pregnant but just an FYI. They only test if they suspect something or have had a CPS case.

if your already pregnant, don't smoke weed aside from it being bad during pregnancy. you get drug tested at your OBGYN when they ask for blood work. Idk what might happen if it comes back postive but I don't think it would be anything good. Take Care of yourself and the baby.
