my boyfriend is in a social club. basically he hangs out with a bunch of guys and drinks two sundays out of the month. they do things for charity occasionally and do fundraisers for people in need but most of the time it's just a bunch of guys hanging out and talking shit about other shit. my boyfriend has recently become a table member meaning he gets to help call the shots and decide what they do and what not but apparently this now means that our lives revolve around their meetings cause he "cant" miss any meetings. they have meetings 7-9 pm every other sunday.

now the reason why im telling y'all this is because we still have not told my boyfriends grandparents that they will be getting another great grandbaby coming in August. they are the last to know. ive been trying to make plans to go out and visit them but he usually works. now we have the opportunity to go before they leave for Oklahoma in two weeks and the rrason why we cant go to dinner os because he "cant" miss a fucking meeting with a bunch of homos. im livid. hes literally putting this stupid club before his family. but does he see it like that? fuck no. and it's bullshit. i also had a plan to go to this rock a billy car show in March (he loves rock a billy) and he literally said we couldnt go because it lands on a meeting day and the car show starts at 4. Are. You. Fucking. Kidding. Me. so apparently i cant make plans that he would enjoy that happen to fall on a sunday cause it might be meeting day. I sure as hell hope that our next child isnt born on a meeting day cause you know he might just "have" to miss it.

I swear you would think it's a cult that he can't leave.
