ok, can someone give me a rundown on breast milk storage.
it can be in the fridge for a couple days, the freezer up to 6 months?
what happens if I accidently leave it on the counter ?
once it's been warmed he only has an hour to finish the bottle before it's bad?
can I add more milk into a container that's already in the fridge, or will that like contaminate things ?

you can leave fresh milk out for up to 8hrs room temp. fresh from fridge, a few hours I think.
thawed from freezer lasts 24h in fridge.
I wouldnt mix milks from different days. same day is fine imo.
if baby doesnt finish a bottle it cant be used again but save it for baths or topical needs.

I have an app on my phone called Milk Maid that helps
Me track where my milk is and when it expires.
Breast milk can be combined in containers so long as you cool the new milk before pouring it into the container. But the expiration of the container is from the oldest milks time.
Breast milk is sterile to start so there wont be any contaminating the new milk.
Milk on the counter just pumped can be sitting up to 6-8 hours at room temp. Before it goes bad.
