okay so my friend son is preschool and he came home with bugs in his head so she shaved his head bald and we treated everyone's heads still doing laundry swept all the furniture even know noone else had it but him I don't understand how my son didn't get it cause they go to the same exact school but my son is in grade school and his hair is longer then her son's idk but to me the school needs to more head checks or parents need to check their kids heads before sending them to school cause when I was school they did head checks like every month or every other month I mean she got a paper in the mail like in September they was having lice and bedbugs problems going on at the school and of course we checked the kids heads and nothing and thank God we haven't got bedbugs yet I don't know but this whole bug situations going around is crazy

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?
